Bronze Age Redesign

In the late 70s, Legacy Girl received a redesign (done by illustrator Mitch Green) that transformed her into the overalls-wearing hero we know today. This new design came with an updated backstory that had Carolyn as a college student instead of a seamstress. This Bronze Age edition of Legacy Girl also began shifting towards darker topics - unlike earlier eras, death was more prominent in these new issues. In Legacy Girl #46, Legacy Girl is forced to kill the villainous Yesteryear to prevent him from attacking a group of her fellow students.

Legacy Girl also had frequent team ups with other Legacy Comics characters during this era! She appears in Splendorman #10 to help Splendorman take down a combination of both of their villains (Master Thief and Lockman). The heroic Aces showed up in Legacy Girl #32 and again in Legacy Girl #50. Will Ace is definitely a runner-up when it comes to my favorite Legacy Comics characters.

(Tip: You can skip the Dark Age. Nobody likes Legacy Man :P)
